Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: small flathead screwdriver, new CR2032 battery, multimeter (optional).
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe location and the ignition is off.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  • Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  • Carefully remove the old battery, noting the orientation for the new battery.
  • Insert the new CR2032 battery in the same orientation as the old one.
  • Snap the key fob casing back together securely.
3. Check Central Locking System Fuse
  • Locate the vehicle’s fuse box (refer to the owner’s manual for location).
  • Identify the fuse related to the central locking system.
  • Use a multimeter to check for continuity in the fuse; replace if blown.
  • Reinstall the fuse cover securely after inspecting or replacing the fuse.
4. Synchronize Key Fob
  • Enter the vehicle and close all doors.
  • Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (do not start the engine).
  • Press and hold the unlock button on the key fob for about 10 seconds; release it and press the lock button.
  • Turn the ignition off and remove the key. Test the key fob functionality.
