Tools Required:

  • OBD-II scanner
  • Multimeter
  • Socket set
  • Torque wrench
2. Battery Inspection and Replacement
  • Inspect the Battery:

    • Use a multimeter to check the battery voltage.
    • If the voltage is low, recharge or replace the battery.

  • Test the Starter:

    1. Locate the starter motor under the vehicle.
    2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the starter.
    3. Use a multimeter to check for power at the starter terminal while the key is turned to the "start" position.
    4. If power is present, replace the starter motor.
  • Replace the Starter (if necessary):

    1. Remove the mounting bolts of the starter motor using a socket set.
    2. Carefully pull the starter motor out.
    3. Install the new starter and tighten the bolts to manufacturer's specifications.
