Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and materials: a small flathead screwdriver, a replacement battery (CR2032), and a clean workspace.
  • Ensure you are in a well-lit area to see small components clearly.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Using the small flathead screwdriver, gently insert it into the slot on the side of the key fob.
  • Twist the screwdriver to pry the key fob open, taking care not to damage the casing.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  • Locate the battery compartment inside the key fob.
  • Carefully lift the old battery out using your fingers or the flathead screwdriver if necessary.
  • Note the orientation of the battery to ensure correct placement of the new battery.
4. Install the New Battery
  • Place the new battery (CR2032) into the compartment, ensuring it is oriented the same way as the old battery (positive side facing up).
  • Press down gently until the battery is securely in place.
5. Reassemble the Key Fob
  • Align the two halves of the key fob and press them together until they click into place, ensuring no gaps remain.
  • Test the key fob to confirm proper functioning.
