Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: OBD-II scanner, small screwdriver, multimeter, new key fob battery (CR2032 or as specified in the vehicle manual).
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe area with sufficient space to work.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Open the key fob using a small screwdriver to pry apart the halves.
  2. Remove the old battery and note the orientation (positive and negative sides).
  3. Insert the new battery in the same orientation.
  4. Snap the key fob back together securely.
3. Reprogram Key Fob
  1. Sit inside the vehicle and close all doors.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn to the "ON" position (without starting the engine).
  3. Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the key fob for 5-10 seconds.
  4. While holding the "Unlock" button, press the "Lock" button three times.
  5. Release both buttons and turn the ignition off. Test the key fob to ensure it unlocks the doors.
4. Inspect Door Lock Mechanisms
  1. Remove the door panel from the affected door using a socket set and screwdriver.
  2. Inspect the door lock actuator for damage or disconnection.
  3. Clean any debris obstructing the lock mechanism.
  4. If the actuator is faulty, replace it with a new one.
