Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and materials.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is turned off.
  • Tools Required: Power steering fluid, funnel, turkey baster or fluid siphon, clean rags, gloves.
2. Drain Old Fluid
  • Use a turkey baster or siphon to remove old fluid from the power steering reservoir.
  • Dispose of the old fluid in accordance with local regulations.
3. Refill with New Fluid
  • Using a funnel, refill the power steering reservoir with fresh, manufacturer-recommended power steering fluid.
  • Check the fluid level and add more if necessary.
4. Bleed the System
  • Start the engine and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock (full left to full right) several times to help remove air bubbles from the system.
  • Check the fluid level again and top off if necessary.
5. Final Inspection
  • Inspect the reservoir and surrounding areas for leaks after bleeding.
  • Clean any spills and ensure the cap is securely fastened.
