Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: clean rag or paper towel.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off.
2. Locate the Power Steering Fluid Reservoir
  • Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod.
  • Identify the power steering fluid reservoir, typically labeled, usually near the engine block.
3. Check Fluid Level
  • Wipe the area around the reservoir cap with a clean rag to avoid dirt contamination.
  • Carefully remove the cap from the reservoir.
  • Visually inspect the fluid level against the “MIN” and “MAX” markings on the side of the reservoir.
  • If the level is below the "MIN" mark, fluid needs to be added.
4. Add Power Steering Fluid (if necessary)
  • Using a funnel, add the appropriate type of power steering fluid (consult the owner's manual for the correct type).
  • Do not overfill; aim for the fluid level to be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
  • Replace the reservoir cap securely.
5. Clean Up
  • Dispose of any used rags properly.
  • Close the hood of the vehicle.
