1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Torx screwdriver or flathead screwdriver
    • Clean cloth or vacuum (optional)
  • Safety Warnings:
    • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and keys are removed from the ignition.
2. Locate the Cabin Air Filter
  • Open the glove compartment and remove any items inside.
  • Locate the two stops on the right side of the glove compartment.
  • Gently push in the sides of the glove compartment to release the stops and lower the glove compartment completely.
3. Remove the Cabin Air Filter Cover
  • Identify the cabin air filter cover, which is typically located behind the glove compartment.
  • Use the appropriate screwdriver to remove the screws securing the cover (if applicable).
  • Carefully pull off the cover to expose the cabin air filter.
4. Replace the Cabin Air Filter
  • Remove the old cabin air filter by pulling it straight out.
  • Check the orientation of the old filter, noting the airflow direction indicated by arrows.
  • Insert the new cabin air filter in the same orientation as the old one, ensuring a snug fit.
