1. Preparation

• Gather tools and parts required.
• Safety: Ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and securely supported with jack stands.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical issues.

2. Remove the Steering Rack

• Tools Required: Socket set, wrench set, pliers, power steering fluid catch pan.
• Remove the front wheels for better access.
• Detach the tie rod ends from the steering knuckles using a tie rod end separator.
• Remove the bolts securing the steering rack to the subframe.
• Disconnect the power steering lines from the rack using a wrench, allowing fluid to drain into the catch pan.
• Carefully slide the steering rack out from its mounting location.

3. Inspect and Repair the Steering Rack

• Tools Required: Torque wrench, seal replacement kit if necessary.
• Inspect the steering rack for any damaged seals or worn components.
• If the seals are damaged, replace them using the seal kit according to the manufacturer's specifications.
