1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
• Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.

2. Clean the Throttle Body

• Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, soft brush, microfiber cloth.
• Use the throttle body cleaner to spray the inside of the throttle body.
• Gently scrub with a soft brush to remove carbon deposits.
• Wipe clean with a microfiber cloth and ensure no cleaner residue is left.
• Reconnect any disconnected hoses.

3. Replace Fuel Filter

• Tools Required: Fuel line disconnect tool, wrench set, rags.
• Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay and running the engine until it stalls.
• Locate and disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel filter using the fuel line disconnect tool.
• Remove the old fuel filter.
• Install the new fuel filter in the correct orientation.
• Reconnect the fuel lines securely.
