Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical issues.
2. Inspect and Replace Brake Fluid
  • Remove the master cylinder reservoir cap.
  • Use a brake bleeder kit to extract old brake fluid from the reservoir.
  • Refill with fresh brake fluid (DOT 4 recommended).
  • Replace the cap securely.
3. Check and Replace Brake Booster
  • Disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster.
  • Remove the nuts securing the brake booster to the master cylinder.
  • Detach the master cylinder from the brake booster.
  • Remove the brake booster from the vehicle.
  • Install the new brake booster in reverse order, ensuring proper alignment.
  • Reconnect the vacuum hose securely.
4. Bleed the Brake System
  • Starting from the wheel furthest from the master cylinder, use a brake bleeder kit to bleed each brake line until no air bubbles are present.
  • Repeat for all wheels in the correct order (right rear, left rear, right front, left front).
  • Ensure the brake fluid level is maintained during the process.
