Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the ignition is off.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shock.
2. Remove the Wheel
  • Tools Required: Socket set, lug wrench
  • Loosen the lug nuts on the left front wheel.
  • Raise the vehicle with a jack and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
3. Inspect and Replace Wheel Speed Sensor
  • Tools Required: Torque wrench, socket set, wire cutters (if necessary)
  • Locate the left front wheel speed sensor mounted on the wheel hub.
  • Disconnect the sensor's electrical connector.

  • Carefully pull the sensor out from the hub assembly.
  • If the sensor is damaged, replace it with a new one, ensuring it is seated properly.
4. Reassemble
  • Reinstall the sensor bolt and tighten it to the manufacturer's specified torque.
  • Reconnect the electrical connector to the new sensor.
  • Reinstall the left front wheel, hand-tightening the lug nuts.
  • Lower the vehicle from the jack stands and tighten the lug nuts to the specified torque.
5. Reconnect Battery and Clear Codes
  • Reconnect the battery terminals.
  • Use the OBD-II scanner to clear the C0035 code from the system.
