Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and materials.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and turned off.
2. Access Cabin Air Filter
  • Open the glove compartment and remove any contents.
  • Locate the stops on both sides of the glove compartment; gently squeeze them inward to allow the compartment to drop down further.
3. Remove Old Cabin Air Filter
  • Find the cabin air filter cover, usually located behind the glove compartment.
  • Release any clips or screws securing the cover (typically 2-4 clips).
  • Carefully pull off the cover and set it aside.
  • Slide the old cabin air filter out of its housing, noting the orientation for installation of the new filter.
4. Install New Cabin Air Filter
  • Take the new cabin air filter out of its packaging.
  • Ensure the filter is oriented correctly (usually indicated by arrows on the filter indicating airflow direction).
  • Slide the new filter into place, ensuring it fits snugly in its housing.
5. Reassemble Components
  • Reattach the cabin air filter cover by securing any clips or screws that were removed.
  • Lift the glove compartment back into position and ensure the stops are engaged to hold it in place.
  • Replace any contents removed from the glove compartment.
