Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts, and ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shock.
  • Tools Required: Socket set, screwdriver set, multimeter, and OBD-II scanner.
2. Replace Wiper Motor
  1. Remove the Wiper Arms

    • Use a wrench to remove the nut securing each wiper arm.
    • Gently lift the arms off the wiper motor shaft; use a puller if they are stuck.
  2. Access the Wiper Motor

    • Remove any covers or panels obstructing access to the wiper motor.
    • Unscrew the motor mounting bolts using a socket set.
  3. Disconnect the Wiper Motor

    • Unplug the electrical connector from the wiper motor.
    • Carefully pull the motor out of its mounting location.
  4. Install New Wiper Motor

    • Position the new wiper motor in place and secure it with mounting bolts (torque to manufacturer specifications).
    • Reconnect the electrical connector.
  5. Reinstall Wiper Arms

    • Position the wiper arms back onto the motor shafts.
    • Secure each arm with its nut and ensure they are properly aligned.
3. Replace Wiper Blades (if needed)
  1. Remove Old Wiper Blades

    • Press the release tab on the wiper arm and slide the old blade off.
  2. Install New Wiper Blades

    • Slide the new wiper blade onto the arm until it clicks into place.
