Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the battery.

Tools Required:

  • OBD-II scanner
  • Oil pressure gauge
  • Socket set
  • Funnel
  • Oil filter wrench
2. Check and Top Off Engine Oil
  • Sub-step 1: Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth.
  • Sub-step 2: Reinsert the dipstick fully and remove it again to check the oil level.
  • Sub-step 3: If the oil level is low, add the recommended oil type (check owner's manual).
  • Sub-step 4: Start the engine and let it run for a minute, then turn it off and check the level again.
3. Change Engine Oil and Filter (if needed)
  • Sub-step 1: Place an oil drain pan under the oil pan.
  • Sub-step 2: Remove the oil drain plug using the socket set and allow the old oil to drain completely.
  • Sub-step 3: Replace the oil filter using the oil filter wrench.
  • Sub-step 4: Reinstall the drain plug and torque to manufacturer specifications.
  • Sub-step 5: Fill the engine with the appropriate amount of new oil using a funnel.
