Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: socket set, multimeter, screwdrivers, and replacement parts as needed.
  • Disconnect the vehicle's battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Replace Wiper Motor (If Faulty)
  1. Remove the wiper arms:
    • Use a wiper arm puller if necessary to avoid damage.
    • Loosen the nut securing the wiper arm and carefully lift it off.
  2. Access the wiper motor:
    • Remove the plastic cover beneath the wiper arms by unscrewing any fasteners.
    • Disconnect the wiring harness from the wiper motor.
  3. Unbolt the wiper motor:
    • Use the appropriate socket to remove the mounting bolts.
    • Carefully lift the motor out of its housing.
  4. Install the new wiper motor:
    • Position the new motor and secure it with bolts, ensuring proper torque as specified by the manufacturer.
    • Reconnect the wiring harness.
3. Replace Wiper Links (If Damaged)
  1. Gain access to the wiper linkage:
    • Follow steps from "Access the wiper motor" above.
  2. Remove the old linkage:
    • Unbolt the linkage from the motor and wiper arms.
    • Carefully detach it from any mounting points.
  3. Install the new linkage:
    • Position the new linkage and secure it in place with bolts.
    • Connect linkage to the wiper motor and wiper arms.
4. Replace Wiper Blades (If Worn)
  1. Lift the wiper arms away from the windshield.
  2. Remove the old wiper blades by pressing the release tab and sliding the blade off the arm.
  3. Attach the new wiper blades by sliding them onto the wiper arm until you hear a click.
  4. Lower the wiper arms back to the windshield.
