Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Bulb replacement (specific to the Volvo XC60 model)
    • Screwdriver (flathead or Phillips depending on the housing)
    • Gloves (to prevent oil from hands transferring to the bulb)
2. Access the Bulb
  • For headlights:

    1. Open the hood and locate the headlight assembly.
    2. Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical shorts (safety measure).
    3. Remove any covers or screws securing the headlight assembly using the screwdriver.
  • For taillights:

    1. Open the rear hatch and locate the taillight assembly.
    2. Remove screws or clips holding the taillight in place.
3. Remove the Faulty Bulb
  • Headlights:
  1. Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to release it from the headlight assembly.
  2. Carefully pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.
