Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: Small flathead screwdriver, new battery (CR2032 or as specified), and a clean cloth.
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked in a safe area.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  • Step 1: Open the key fob.
    • Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob along the seam.
  • Step 2: Remove the old battery.
    • Carefully take out the old battery, noting its orientation.
  • Step 3: Insert the new battery.
    • Place the new battery in the same orientation as the old one.
  • Step 4: Reassemble the key fob.
    • Align the two halves of the key fob and press them together until they click.
3. Reprogram Key Fob (if necessary)
  • Step 1: Enter the vehicle and close all doors.
