Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
  • Allow the engine to cool before beginning work.
2. Replace Air Filter
  • Remove the air filter housing cover using a socket set.
  • Take out the old air filter and inspect the housing for debris.
  • Install a new air filter (ensure it meets OEM specifications).
  • Reassemble the air filter housing cover and tighten to manufacturer torque specifications.
3. Clean Throttle Body
  • Remove the intake duct connected to the throttle body using a socket set.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the interior surfaces of the throttle body.
  • Ensure the throttle plate moves freely and is not obstructed.
  • Reinstall the intake duct and secure it properly.
4. Inspect and Clean MAF Sensor
  • Carefully disconnect the MAF sensor wiring harness.
  • Remove the MAF sensor from the intake using a Torx screwdriver.
  • Spray MAF sensor cleaner on the sensor element and let it dry before reinstalling.
  • Reconnect the MAF sensor and wiring harness securely.
5. Check and Replace Spark Plugs (if needed)
  • Remove the ignition coil screws and carefully pull out the coils.
  • Use a spark plug socket to remove spark plugs; inspect for wear or fouling.
  • Install new spark plugs, ensuring they are gapped correctly to manufacturer specifications.
  • Reinstall the ignition coils and secure them with screws.
