1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, vacuum cleaner (optional)
  • Safety Warning: Ensure the vehicle is turned off and keys are removed from the ignition.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  1. Open the glove compartment and remove any contents inside.
  2. Locate the stop arms on either side of the glove compartment, and gently squeeze them inward to allow the glove compartment to fully drop down.
  3. Remove the screws (if applicable) or release clips securing the access cover for the cabin air filter.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  1. Once the access panel is open, pull out the old cabin air filter carefully.
  2. Dispose of the old filter in accordance with local regulations.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
  1. Unbox the new cabin air filter and check for correct orientation (indicated by airflow arrows).
  2. Insert the new filter into the housing, ensuring it fits snugly and correctly aligns with the airflow direction.
5. Reassemble the Glove Compartment
  1. Reattach the access cover, securing it with screws or clips as necessary.
  2. Lift the glove compartment back into place and ensure the stop arms are correctly positioned.
  3. Reinsert any items previously stored in the glove compartment.
