Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the ignition is off.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety.
2. Raise the Vehicle
  • Use a jack to lift the front of the vehicle and secure with jack stands.
  • Remove the front wheels using a socket set.
3. Inspect and Replace CV Joints
  • Inspect CV Joints:
    • Check the outer and inner CV joints for torn boots or grease leakage.
  • Replace if Necessary:
    • If damaged, remove the axle nut using a socket wrench.
    • Disconnect the CV joint from the hub by removing the bolts.
    • Carefully pull the axle out of the transmission.
    • Install the new CV joint by reversing the removal process. Ensure it is securely fastened.
4. Check Wheel Bearings
  • Inspect Wheel Bearings:
    • Spin the wheel hub to check for roughness or noise.
  • Replace if Necessary:
    • Remove the brake caliper and rotor.
    • Remove the wheel hub assembly by unbolting it from the suspension.
    • Replace with a new wheel bearing and reassemble in reverse order.
5. Reassemble and Lower the Vehicle
  • Reinstall the front wheels and lower the vehicle back to the ground.
  • Reconnect the battery.
