Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner, multimeter, small screwdriver set, and a new key fob battery if needed.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface with the engine off.
2. Check Key Fob Battery
  • Remove the key fob casing using a small screwdriver.
  • Replace the old battery with a new one, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  • Reassemble the key fob casing securely.
3. Reprogram Key Fob (if necessary)
  • Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (do not start the engine).
  • Press the "Unlock" button on the key fob for 5 seconds, then press "Lock" 3 times.
  • Turn the key back to "Off" and remove it from the ignition.
  • Test the remote start feature again.
4. Reset the Vehicle’s Electronics
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for about 10 minutes.
  • Reconnect the negative terminal securely.
