Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Small flathead screwdriver, new CR2032 battery (or compatible), key fob housing (if damaged).
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe location, with the engine off and doors unlocked.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Use the small flathead screwdriver to carefully pry open the key fob along the seam without damaging the casing.
  • Gently separate the two halves to avoid breaking any internal clips.
3. Replace the Battery

  • Install the new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up.
