Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: a flathead screwdriver (for battery replacement if necessary).
  • Ensure you are in a quiet environment with no interference from other key fobs.
2. Battery Replacement (if necessary)
  1. Use the flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  2. Remove the old battery by taking note of its orientation.
  3. Insert the new battery (CR2032 or as specified in the manual) in the same orientation.
  4. Snap the key fob casing back together until it clicks.
3. Key Fob Programming Reset
  1. Enter Vehicle: Sit in the driver's seat with all doors closed.
  2. Turn Ignition On: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine.
  3. Press Key Fob Buttons: Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the key fob while simultaneously pressing the "Lock" button three times.
  4. Release Buttons: After the third press, release both buttons and turn the ignition off.
  5. Test Key Fob: Exit the vehicle and test the key fob functions (lock/unlock).
