Solution
1. Preparation

  • Ensure you have a replacement battery (CR2032) ready.
  • Disconnect the vehicle battery for safety if needed.
2. Open Key Fob
  • Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry open the key fob.
  • Be cautious not to damage the plastic casing.
3. Replace Battery
  • Remove the old battery from the key fob.
  • Insert the new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  • Ensure the battery is seated properly.
4. Reassemble Key Fob
  • Align the two halves of the key fob and snap them back together.
  • Test the key fob buttons to ensure they operate correctly.
5. Reprogram Key Fob (if necessary)
  • Insert the key fob into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine.
