Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Funnel (if filling)
    • Clean cloth or rag
  • Ensure the vehicle is on level ground and the engine is warmed up.
2. Check Fluid Level
  • Using the Dipstick (If applicable):

    1. Remove the dipstick from the tube.
    2. Wipe the dipstick with a clean cloth to remove old fluid.
    3. Reinsert the dipstick fully into the tube and remove it again to check the fluid level against the marked indicators.
    4. If the fluid is low, proceed to add fluid.
  • If No Dipstick (Using Fill Plug):

    1. Locate the fill plug on the transmission case.
    2. Remove the fill plug using the appropriate socket.
    3. Insert a clean finger into the hole; if fluid is felt at the edge, the level is adequate. If not, fluid needs to be added.
3. Add Transmission Fluid (if necessary)
  1. Use a funnel to add the recommended type of transmission fluid.
  2. Add fluid slowly while checking the level until it reaches the appropriate mark.
  3. Replace the dipstick or fill plug securely.
