1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: multimeter, battery load tester, ammeter, wrench set, cleaning supplies.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Clean Battery Terminals
  • Use a wire brush to clean any corrosion from the battery terminals and cable ends.
  • Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to terminals to prevent future corrosion.
  • Reconnect the battery terminals securely.
3. Replace Battery (if necessary)
