Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and materials.
  • Tools Required:
    • Socket set
    • Funnel
    • Clean, lint-free cloth
    • Torque wrench (if needed for the check plug)
  • Safety Warnings:
    • Ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface.
    • Allow the engine to cool before working on the transmission.
2. Check Fluid Level with Dipstick (if applicable)
  • Remove the dipstick from the transmission tube carefully while the engine is running.
  • Wipe the dipstick clean to remove any old fluid.
  • Reinsert the dipstick fully back into the tube.
  • Remove it again and inspect the fluid level against the marked indicators. The fluid should be between the "Min" and "Max" marks.
3. Check Fluid Level Through Check Plug (if no dipstick)
  • Locate the check plug on the transmission case.
  • Clean the area around the check plug to prevent contamination.
  • Use the appropriate socket to remove the check plug.
  • Observe if fluid begins to seep out of the check hole; if it does, the fluid level is adequate. If no fluid comes out, it needs to be filled.
4. Add Transmission Fluid (if necessary)
  • If the fluid level is low, use a funnel to add the appropriate type of transmission fluid (refer to the owner's manual for specifications).
  • Add fluid gradually until it reaches the correct level, checking frequently.
5. Reinstall Components
  • If you removed a dipstick, reinsert it securely.
  • Replace the check plug and tighten it to the manufacturer’s specifications using a torque wrench.
