Solution
1. Preparation

  • Ensure you have a replacement battery (typically CR2032) for the key fob.
  • If applicable, gather a second key fob for testing.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  • Tools Required: Small flathead screwdriver, replacement battery
  • Open the key fob by using the flathead screwdriver to gently pry apart the two halves.
  • Remove the old battery carefully, noting the orientation (positive side facing up).
  • Insert the new battery in the same orientation.
  • Snap the key fob back together securely.
