Solution
1. Preparation

  • Ensure you have a replacement battery (CR2032).
  • Work in a clean, well-lit area.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Use a flat-head screwdriver or a plastic trim tool to gently pry apart the key fob at the seam.
  • Start at one end and carefully work your way around to avoid damaging the casing.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  • Locate the old battery once the fob is opened.
  • Carefully lift the battery out of its compartment using your fingers or a small flat-head screwdriver, ensuring not to damage any surrounding components.
4. Insert the New Battery
  • Take the new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing upwards.
  • Insert the new battery into the compartment, ensuring it fits snugly.
5. Reassemble the Key Fob
