Solution

1. Preparation

• Remove the ignition coil from cylinder 1.
  • Unclip the wiring harness.
  • Unscrew the bolts holding the coil in place.
• Remove the spark plug using a spark plug socket.
• Inspect the old spark plug for wear; replace with a new spark plug if necessary.
• Torque the new spark plug to the manufacturer’s specifications (usually around 20-30 Nm).

3. Replace Ignition Coil

• Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench.
• Remove the ignition coil from cylinder 1 as previously described.
• Install the new ignition coil onto cylinder 1.
