Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: small screwdriver, replacement battery (CR2032), and a key fob tester (if available).
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe and accessible area.
  • Disconnect the vehicle battery if necessary for electronic safety.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Using a small screwdriver, gently pry open the key fob casing.
  2. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly.
  3. Insert the new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up.
  4. Snap the key fob casing back together securely.
3. Reprogram the Key Fob (if necessary)
  1. In the driver’s seat, close all doors and ensure the vehicle is completely off.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
