Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts.
  • Allow the engine to cool before starting work.
2. Replace Engine Mounts (if found defective)
  • Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, jack, jack stands
  • Raise the vehicle securely on jack stands.
  • Locate the engine mounts (typically found on the front and rear of the engine).
  • Remove the bolts securing the damaged engine mount using the socket set.
  • Lift the engine slightly with a jack to relieve tension on the mount.
  • Install the new engine mount and torque bolts to manufacturer specifications.
  • Repeat for all damaged mounts.
3. Replace Spark Plugs and Ignition Coils (if found worn)
  • Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, dielectric grease
  • Remove the ignition coil cover if applicable.
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils.
  • Unscrew and remove the coils and spark plugs.
  • Install new spark plugs, using dielectric grease on the coil connectors.
  • Reinstall the ignition coils and secure them with bolts.
4. Clean or Replace Fuel Filter (if needed)
  • Tools Required: Fuel line disconnect tool, wrench set
  • Locate the fuel filter (usually along the fuel line).
  • Relieve fuel pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using the fuel line disconnect tool.
  • Remove and replace the old fuel filter with a new one.
  • Reconnect the fuel lines securely and replace the fuel pump fuse.
