Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Needed: OBD-II scanner, multimeter, socket set, small screwdriver, wire brush.
  • Disconnect the vehicle battery to prevent any electrical shorts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the ignition is off.
2. Access the Blower Motor
  • Remove the passenger side lower dash panel using a socket set and screwdriver to expose the blower motor assembly.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the blower motor.
3. Inspect and Replace Components
  • Inspect the Fuse: If the fuse is blown, replace it with one of the same amperage.
  • Check the Blower Motor Resistor: If damaged, remove the resistor by unscrewing it from its mount and replacing it with a new one.
  • Replace the Blower Motor: If the motor does not work when connected directly to power, remove it by unscrewing it from its housing and replacing it with a new blower motor.
4. Reassembly
  • Reconnect the wiring harness to the new blower motor.
  • Reinstall the passenger side lower dash panel and secure it with screws.
  • Reconnect the vehicle battery.
