Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: OBD-II scanner, socket set, torque wrench, multimeter, cleaning supplies (throttle body cleaner, etc.)
  • Safety Warnings: Disconnect the battery before working on electrical systems. Allow the engine to cool before opening components.
2. Clean Throttle Body
  1. Remove the intake duct connected to the throttle body using the socket set.
  2. Spray throttle body cleaner onto a clean cloth and wipe the throttle plate and surrounding areas to remove carbon buildup.
  3. Reinstall the intake duct and ensure it is securely fastened.
3. Replace or Clean MAF Sensor
  1. Disconnect the MAF sensor connector.
  2. Remove the MAF sensor using the socket set.
  3. Clean the sensor with MAF cleaner or replace it if it is damaged.
  4. Reinstall the MAF sensor and reconnect the connector.
4. Check and Replace Fuel Filter
  1. Locate the fuel filter; it may be in-line or integrated with the fuel pump.
  2. Relieve fuel pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
  3. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter, using appropriate tools to prevent spills.
  4. Replace the old filter with a new one, reconnecting the fuel lines securely.
5. Inspect and Clean IAC Valve
  1. Remove the IAC valve from the intake manifold using the socket set.
  2. Clean the valve with throttle body or carburetor cleaner to remove deposits.
  3. Reinstall the IAC valve with the specified torque settings.
