1. Preparation

  • Tools Required: OBD-II scanner (if needed), spare key (if available), flathead screwdriver.

2. Replace Key Fob Battery (if necessary)
  • Open the key fob using a flathead screwdriver.
  • Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one (typically CR2032).
  • Ensure the positive (+) side is facing the correct direction when inserting the new battery.
  • Close the key fob securely.
3. Enter Programming Mode

  • Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position (do not start the engine).
  • Press the lock button on the new key fob for about 5 seconds.
