1. Preparation

2. Remove the Wheel

  • Raise the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel.
3. Inspect and Replace Brake Pads
  • Inspection: Check brake pads for thickness; if they are below the manufacturer’s minimum thickness, replace them.
  • Replacement:
    1. Remove the caliper bolts using the appropriate socket.
    2. Slide the caliper off the rotor and support it without straining the brake line.
