Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Jack and jack stands
    • Socket set
    • Torque wrench
    • Ball joint separator tool
  • Safety Warnings:

2. Remove Wheel
  1. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels while the vehicle is on the ground.
  2. Raise the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
  3. Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel.
3. Disconnect Ball Joint
  1. Locate the ball joint at the bottom of the control arm.
  2. Remove the cotter pin from the ball joint nut if present.
  3. Using the appropriate socket, loosen and remove the ball joint nut.
