Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety.
2. Replace the Fuel Sending Unit
  1. Access Fuel Tank:

    • Lift the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
    • Remove the fuel tank protection cover if equipped.
  2. Drain Fuel Tank:

    • Use a siphon pump to drain the fuel from the tank to prevent spills.
  3. Remove Fuel Tank:

    • Disconnect fuel lines and electrical connections from the fuel pump assembly.
    • Unscrew and remove the bolts securing the fuel tank.
    • Carefully lower the fuel tank.
  4. Remove and Replace Sending Unit:

    • Remove the fuel pump assembly from the tank.
    • Disconnect the fuel sending unit from the assembly.
