1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and materials.
• Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shock.
• Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.

2. Remove Fuel Injectors

• Tools Required: Socket set, ratchet, torque wrench, fuel line disconnect tool.
• Remove the engine cover (if applicable) to access the fuel rail.
• Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
• Use the fuel line disconnect tool to carefully disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel rail.
• Unbolt the fuel rail from the intake manifold and gently lift it out, ensuring the injectors come out with the rail.

3. Inspect and Clean

• Examine each fuel injector for clogs or deposits.
• Use a fuel injector cleaner or ultrasonic cleaner to clean the injectors if they are dirty.
• Check the O-rings on the injectors for wear and replace them if necessary.

4. Install New or Repaired Injectors

• Insert the cleaned or new fuel injectors into the fuel rail, ensuring they are seated correctly.
