Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Flathead screwdriver
    • Phillips screwdriver
    • New cabin air filter
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is turned off.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  1. Open the glove compartment and remove any contents.
  2. Locate the two stops on each side of the glove compartment, gently push in to release them and allow the glove compartment to fully drop down.
  3. Remove the screws (if applicable) securing the access panel to the cabin air filter housing, typically located behind the glove compartment.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  1. Carefully pull out the access panel to expose the cabin air filter.
  2. Note the orientation of the old cabin air filter for proper installation of the new one.
  3. Remove the old cabin air filter from its housing.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
  1. Insert the new cabin air filter into the housing, ensuring it is oriented correctly based on the flow direction indicated on the filter.
  2. Reattach the access panel by aligning it properly and securing with screws if applicable.
5. Reassemble the Glove Compartment
  1. Raise the glove compartment back to its original position.
