Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Screwdriver set
    • Multimeter
    • Wire stripper/crimper
    • Torque wrench
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety while working on the electrical components.
2. Inspect and Replace Fuse
  • Locate the fuse box under the dashboard or in the engine compartment.
  • Remove the cover and find the power window fuse (refer to the owner’s manual for the exact location).
  • Inspect the fuse and replace it with a new one of the same amperage if it is blown.
3. Replace Power Window Switch (if faulty)
  • Remove the door panel using the screwdriver to access the switch assembly.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the power window switch.
  • Install the new switch by connecting the wiring harness and securing it back into place.
  • Reattach the door panel and ensure it fits snugly.
4. Replace Window Motor or Regulator (if needed)
  • After confirming the motor is faulty, remove the door panel to access the window motor and regulator.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the window motor.
  • Remove the bolts securing the window motor and the regulator to the door frame.
  • Carefully take out the old window motor/regulator assembly.
  • Install the new window motor/regulator assembly in reverse order, ensuring all bolts are tightened to manufacturer specifications.
  • Reconnect the wiring harness and reattach the door panel.
