Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.

2. Clean or Replace Air Filter

• Remove the air filter housing cover.
• Take out the air filter and inspect for dirt and debris.
• Clean it with compressed air or replace it with a new filter if heavily soiled.

3. Inspect and Clean Throttle Body

• Remove the intake duct connected to the throttle body.
• Using throttle body cleaner, spray inside the throttle body and gently scrub with a soft cloth to remove carbon deposits.
• Reinstall the intake duct securely.

4. Check and Replace Spark Plugs (if necessary)

• Remove the ignition coil or spark plug cover to access the spark plugs.
• Inspect spark plugs for wear or fouling; replace them if they show significant wear (gaps larger than specified).
• Reinstall ignition coil or spark plug cover.

5. Test Fuel Pressure and Replace Fuel Filter (if necessary)

• Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail.
• Start the engine and check if the fuel pressure meets the specifications listed in the service manual; replace the fuel filter if pressure is low.
