Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety.
2. Replace Air Filter
  • Tools Required: Screwdriver, replacement air filter
    • Remove the air filter housing cover using a screwdriver.
    • Take out the old air filter and inspect the housing for debris.
    • Install the new air filter and reattach the housing cover.
3. Clean Throttle Body
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, soft cloth, screwdriver
    • Remove the intake duct connected to the throttle body using a screwdriver.
    • Spray throttle body cleaner into the throttle body while opening the throttle plate manually.
    • Wipe clean with a soft cloth and reassemble the intake duct.
4. Replace Spark Plugs
  • Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, replacement spark plugs
    • Remove the ignition coil packs using a socket.
    • Unscrew and take out the old spark plugs using a spark plug socket.
    • Install new spark plugs, ensuring they are torqued to the manufacturer's specification (typically around 13-15 lb-ft).
    • Reinstall the ignition coil packs.
5. Test Fuel Pressure
  • Tools Required: Fuel pressure gauge
    • Connect the fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail test port.
    • Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position (without starting) to check the pressure reading.
    • If the pressure is below specifications, inspect the fuel pump and filter.
