Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather required tools:
    • Flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool
    • New cabin air filter
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  1. Open the Glove Compartment:

    • Remove all items from the glove compartment.
  2. Detach the Glove Compartment:

    • Locate the stops on the sides of the glove compartment.
    • Gently press in on the sides to allow the glove compartment to swing down fully.
  3. Remove the Access Panel:

    • Locate the cabin air filter access cover behind the glove compartment.
    • Use a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool to gently pry off the access panel.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  1. Take Out the Filter:
    • Grasp the old cabin air filter and pull it straight out of the housing.
    • Note the orientation of the filter for proper installation of the new one.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
