1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and secure it with wheel chocks.
• Wear safety glasses and gloves.

2. Inspect and Replace Brake Fluid

• Tools Required: Brake fluid tester, wrench for reservoir cap
• Remove the master cylinder reservoir cap and inspect fluid quality.
• If the fluid is discolored or below the minimum line, replace it with the manufacturer-recommended brake fluid (DOT 3 or DOT 4).
• Reinstall the reservoir cap securely.

3. Bleed Brake System

• Tools Required: Brake bleeder kit, clear tubing, wrench
• Start at the wheel farthest from the master cylinder (usually the right rear).
• Attach clear tubing to the bleeder valve on the brake caliper.
• Have an assistant press the brake pedal while you open the bleeder valve, allowing air and old fluid to escape.
• Close the valve before the assistant releases the brake pedal to prevent air from re-entering.
• Repeat this process for each wheel (right rear, left rear, right front, left front) until the fluid runs clear with no bubbles.
• Ensure fluid levels in the master cylinder remain topped up during the bleeding process.

4. Inspect and Replace Brake Components (if necessary)
