Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Flathead screwdriver
    • Torque wrench (if applicable)
    • New cabin air filter
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the ignition is off.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter Compartment
  1. Open the glove box and remove any contents inside.
  2. Locate the two stops on the sides of the glove box and gently push them inward to fully lower the glove box.
  3. If necessary, detach the glove box support arm from the side panel.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  1. Locate the cabin air filter cover, which is usually found behind the glove box.
  2. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the cover by releasing its clips.
  3. Carefully slide out the old cabin air filter, noting its orientation for the installation of the new filter.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
  1. Take the new cabin air filter and ensure it is oriented correctly, matching the airflow direction indicated on the filter.
  2. Slide the new filter into the compartment.
