Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts required for the repair.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and secure it with wheel chocks.

  • Lug wrench
  • Socket set
  • Torque wrench
  • Brake cleaner
  • C-clamp or brake caliper tool
2. Remove Wheel
  • Loosen lug nuts slightly while the vehicle is on the ground.
  • Lift the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts and take the wheel off.
3. Inspect and Replace Brake Pads
  • Inspect Brake Pads:
    • Check the thickness of the brake pads; replace if below manufacturer’s specifications (usually less than 3mm).
  • Replace Brake Pads:
    • Remove the caliper bolts using a socket wrench.
