Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts for repair.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shock.
2. Inspect and Replace Fuse
  • Locate the fuse box, typically located under the dashboard or in the engine compartment.
  • Use the fuse puller or pliers to remove the wiper fuse.
  • Check the fuse for continuity. If blown, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage.
3. Test and Replace Wiper Relay
  • Locate the wiper relay in the fuse box (refer to the owner’s manual for location).
  • Remove the relay and test it by swapping with a similar relay (if available) to see if the wipers start functioning.
  • If the wiper relay is faulty, replace it with a new one.
4. Inspect Wiper Motor
  • Remove the wiper arms by unscrewing the nut at the base of each arm.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the wiper motor.
  • Apply direct battery power to the wiper motor terminals using jumper wires to see if it operates.
  • If the motor does not run, replace it with a new wiper motor.
5. Reassemble and Test
  • Reconnect the wiper motor electrical connector.
  • Reattach the wiper arms and securely tighten the nuts.
  • Reconnect the battery.
  • Test the wipers by activating the control stalk.
