Solution

1. Preparation

Tools Required: Flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool, new cabin air filter.
Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the ignition is off.

2. Access the Cabin Air Filter

Locate the glove compartment in the passenger side of the vehicle.
Open the glove compartment and remove any contents.
Locate the stops on both sides of the glove compartment and gently squeeze them to release the compartment from the dashboard.
Lower the glove compartment completely to expose the cabin air filter access cover.

3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter

Locate the cabin air filter access cover, which is usually a rectangular panel.
Carefully unclip or unscrew the access cover using the flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool.
Pull the cover off and set it aside.
Extract the old cabin air filter from its compartment. Note the orientation of the filter for installation of the new one.

4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter

Take the new cabin air filter and ensure it is oriented correctly (usually indicated by arrow markings on the filter).
