Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: socket set, flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, multimeter, and trim removal tool.
  • Disconnect the vehicle battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Inspect and Replace Fuse
  • Locate the fuse box under the dashboard or engine compartment.
  • Remove the cover and find the fuse related to the power windows using the diagram.
  • Use the fuse puller or pliers to remove the fuse and inspect it for continuity.
    • If blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
3. Replace Window Switch (if necessary)
  • Remove the door panel using a trim removal tool to access the window switch.
  • Disconnect the window switch connector by pressing on the release tab.
  • Install the new switch by connecting the harness and securing it in place.
4. Replace Window Motor/Regulator Assembly (if necessary)
  • While the door panel is removed, disconnect the window motor connector.
  • Remove the bolts securing the window regulator to the door frame.
  • Carefully lift the window to the top position and secure it with tape.
  • Remove the old regulator/motor assembly and install the new one by reversing the process.
    • Make sure to align it properly and secure all bolts to manufacturer specifications.
5. Reassemble Door Panel
  • Reattach the door panel by aligning it properly and securing all clips and screws.
  • Reconnect the battery and test the window operation.
